BIO
Luigi Bruno is a doctoral candidate at McGill University’s Faculty of Law, where his research looks interdisciplinarily at the relationship between Artificial Intelligence and the law. In particular, he focuses on exploring governance solutions that can be implemented to develop ethical, fair, and unbiased AI.
Luigi also holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from McGill University, a Master of Laws from the University of Bari (Italy), and he is currently completing an MSc. in Computer Science at the University of York (United Kingdom). He is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/E), and a Professional Scrum Master (PSM I).
Through his professional experiences, working as a Sr. Cyber Risk Consultant for Deloitte in Switzerland, as well as other international organizations, he has acquired and developed a broad array of skills and expertise in managing and delivering complex cybersecurity, data protection and privacy projects.
Luigi is fluent in English, French, Italian, and German and is based in Montreal.
