Oleg Stratiev works with public, private and institutional clients on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters relating to securities, mergers & acquisitions and regulatory compliance.  As part of his practice, Oleg also assists clients with regulatory and transactional matters regarding emerging technologies, private equity, blockchain and cryptocurrencies.

Oleg has worked with companies, from start-ups to public issuers, in their various stages of development - supporting their mergers & acquisitions, equity issuances and commercial activities. He also assists public issuers with their continuous disclosure obligations and governance issues.

Oleg also has a strong interest in emerging technologies and has published articles and spoken on subjects such as blockchain and cryptocurrencies.

Prior to undertaking his corporate and commercial practice, Oleg was selected as one of the 15 individuals across Canada to clerk at the Tax Court of Canada, where he was responsible for research, preparing draft judgments and analyzing and creating presentations delivered by the judges.

In university, I learned how to learn. I now take that mentality and apply it to each new project I join. I have a strong background in organization and design. I am university educated and have almost fifteen years of experience working with companies large and small.
